Oral Health Therapist Vienna Bennett, was welcomed to the Dentist in the Park team in 2017. Originally from Western Australia she began her dental career in 2004 with a Certificate IV in Dental Clinic Assisting. After testing out the dental field as an assistant Vienna wanted to further her studies with a particular passion for helping children and a focus on preventative dentistry. Completing her first university degree in 2007 as a School Dental Therapist Vienna travelled in a dental van throughout rural Western Australia treating all school age children for their basic dental needs. Finding this very fulfilling it drove her to want to see more and do more with her career. Vienna then found herself living and working throughout London where she acquired valuable skills and experience in all areas of dentistry. Whilst away she applied to further her studies and was accepted into the highly competitive Bachelor of Science in Oral Health Therapy course in Perth. Moving back to study she graduated in 2012- 1 of the first 9 Oral Health Therapists in Western Australia.
After some years gathering more experience and adjusting into the private sector, Vienna made the move to Sydney.
Vienna is highly passionate within her role and enjoys practicing preventative dentistry and educating her patients on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. She describes her skillset as “gentle but thorough” and additionally loves being able to build strong, long-lasting professional relationships with her patients and to see them smile after their treatment is what she strives for.
Away from the practice Vienna spends her spare time with her girlfriends around Bondi, enjoying a glass of wine, going to the beach, keeps fit with running and the gym and takes her downtime to relax and unwind with Netflix at home.
Making her patients feel at ease and relaxed about visiting the dentist has always been her goal.
